Our process of designing meaningful instruction through informal and formal delivery systems is accomplished by a systematic approach beginning with the front-end analysis. This analysis is a group of analyses: performance gap analysis, learner analysis, risk assessment, stakeholder assessment, environmental assessment, leadership and management assessment, metric and key performance indicators or expectations, and different task analyses (the type of task analysis is determined by the content).

By systematically employing our performance analyses, we can articulate first if training is required to address the performance gap but, just as important other performance domains that must be addressed to close the delta between actual and desired performance. These domains include but are not limited to the following:

  • Standards/process requirements
  • Environmental conditions
  • Employee feedback
  • Motivation/incentive
  • Performance measurement
  • Knowledge, skills, ability and attitude
  • Capacity

To remain agile and adaptive Abilaire's,  programmatic approach to Instructional System Design is dictated by the needs of the client. Abilaire can adjust, whether a large complex project that requires the traditional method of Analysis Design Development Implement Evaluate (ADDIE), or a project that needs rapid development and iterations utilizing the Successive Approximation Model (SAM) allowing for rapid development and prototyping.

Learning Impact Evaluation:

Abilaire provides expertise in learning evaluation models including Kirkpatrick’s Four Levels of Evaluation, as well as custom evaluation models that integrate with our proprietary Change Management model. The benefit to our client is our ability to determine the data collection strategy, data measurement, and analysis and interpretation of data to provide a portrait of the impact of the learning.
